I am probably atypical, but I enjoy Gathering Quests. In Un'Goro crater there's a repeatable quest for the beast of burden Dadanga (
Dadanga is Hungry!). I know the quest reward is weak, but I like it because it's always a mystery. You don't know what you'll get in his
gift pack. So this is one of my favorite quests because of these features:
- Gathering
- Repeatable
- Surprise Gift
That said, have you ever looked closely at that sprout? Take a gander:

Is it me or is that one unhappy sprout?
I tend to like gathering / farming too. (I must, since I gathered the insane ore & mineral amounts Blacksmithing demands.)
ReplyDeleteI tend to farm for alts, too.
And I'll repeatedly attempt to get something, like finally getting the Black Tabby to drop off the Dalarian Spellscribe this morning :)
Finally, if you need gold and you're horde, there's a repeatable fishing quest on the dock of Shadowprey Village in Desolace. Get five shellfish out of the cages, receive 55s, repeat. Need to be about level 33-35 minimum, depending on cash, and you'll need to either have underwater breathing, undead (longer Breath), or a Druid (sea lion form to conserve Breath). It's a good way to make up for a shortage of horse-buying cash (we won't tolerate horse thieves...)
