These two are built off of reader contributions:

wowbreak.com which is like a Digg.com for World of Warcraft. Read and vote on submitted WoW stories.

wowwiki.com A great compilation of information - for example look at the Fire Festival and Scourge Invasion pages. (I updated the post on the Lesser Mark of the Dawn post based on what I learned there.)
